Exciting News for the Event Marketing Association!

Sophie: Can you tell us your thoughts about the recent news of the Event Marketing Association (EMA) folding into the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and the Corporate Event Marketing Association (CEMA)?

Alexa: Yes, we are thrilled to hear that the EMA has officially joined forces with PCMA and CEMA to create a larger and more powerful event marketing community. This move will allow us to expand our reach and resources, and provide even more valuable education and networking opportunities to our members.

Sophie: How are you involved in this new chapter of the association?

Alexa: I am the chapter leader for the North of the UK, which includes cities like Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, and Newcastle. I am incredibly excited to be a part of this new chapter and to have the opportunity to grow this community in the North of the UK.

Sophie: Can you tell us about some of the initiatives that you have planned for the Northern Chapter?

Alexa: Absolutely. We have a lot of exciting plans in the works. We will be rolling out a program of virtual education sessions, virtual networking events, and face-to-face events to our Northern Chapter members. We want to make sure that our members have access to a variety of events and opportunities to learn, network and connect with industry leaders.

Sophie: That sounds great. How can people get involved and become members of the Northern Chapter?

Alexa: We are always looking for new members to join our chapter and help us build this community. Interested individuals can find more information on our website or by reaching out to me directly. We are excited to recruit new members and look forward to collaborating with venues, brands, and businesses across the North. Together, we can create something truly incredible and make a real impact in the event marketing industry.
